City Of Clinton Seeking Someone To Design RAGBRAI Logo
Attention artists or those great with graphic design! The city of Clinton needs your help in creating a logo for RAGBRAI this summer. Clinton is the final stop for this year's RAGBRAI and if they select your logo, it will be all over the city of Clinton that is associated with RAGBRAI.
The Register's Annual Great Ride Across Iowa (RAGBRAI) passes through many towns each year, depending on the route. Last year's RAGBRAI was postponed to 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The route from last year's RAGBRAI essentially stayed the same for 2021 (no more stop in Maquoketa on day 6) which means riders will be dipping their tires in the Mississippi River in Clinton. The final day of RAGBRAI 2021 will be July 31.
As the city of Clinton prepares for 2021 RAGBRAI, they are asking those with a creative knack to design a logo for RAGBRAI in Clinton this year. On Monday, Visit Clinton, Iowa announced on social media that they are looking for a volunteer to design Clinton's RAGBRAI 2021 logo.
The logo they select will be used on social media, merchandise, and much more.
Officials from the Clinton are asking people to submit a design and email a digital copy to cvb@clintonia.com as soon as possible.
For those who want to give it a shot, below are details when making your design.
- Theme is "Rolling to the River."
- Logos should include as many of the following as possible:

- River wave symbol (like on Lincoln Highway / Liberty Square and other locations)
- Lighthouse or Paddle Wheel
- Something related to music
- Primary colors either red and blue or orange and blue.
The city doesn't don't have a specific red pallet that must be used, but the other color specifications are included in the graphic below:
