A Popular QC Coffee Shop Started a Food Truck and We Can Feel The Caffeine Buzz Already
This is going to make grabbing your favorite latte a latte easier (see what I did there?).
The Dispatch-Argus reports that one of Rock Island's favorite coffee joints, Cool Beanz, is opening a food truck, called the "Coffee Coach."
Owner Annette Hutto thought it would be a great way to expand the business without the expense of another storefront.
The Coach will officially open for business on August 24, at the new pocket park in Rock Island. To celebrate the occasion, Cool Beanz will be giving out free coffee from 3-6 PM at the new space.
Although the mobile Cool Beanz will not sell sandwiches or alcohol (like the storefront), you can expect a selection of pastries and desserts.
As for the future, the truck will most likely become a regular fixture at Stephens Park in Moline starting in September. Here's hoping the Coach makes its way to Davenport and Bettendorf as well.
