Davenport High School Teacher Helps Students “Build Healthy Habits That Last Beyond High School”

We're in the last few weeks of the semester and the kids are working hard, so we're going out again for our surprises with Ultimate Chocolates to highlight and reward a deserving Quad Cities teacher.

It's now time to announce this week's B100 & Ultimate Chocolate's QC Teacher of the Week!

Congrats to Patrick Schrodt, Gym teacher/Track & Field Coach at West High School in Davenport!

Mr. Schrodt was nominated by Matt C. who said in his nomination:

Mr. Schrodt goes above and beyond for his students through his classroom teaching and his track coaching activities. The PE and Health teacher demonstrates to his students essential physical abilities beyond his required teaching material. He helps students understand the importance of staying active, taking care of their bodies, and building healthy habits that last beyond high school.

 

As Head Track and Field Coach he helps his athletes develop their complete potential while he provides personal and academic assistance. He creates an environment where students feel motivated, respected, and part of a team. His dedication, positive attitude, and commitment to helping students succeed make him a strong choice for B100 QC Teacher of the Week for Spring 2026.
