Don’t Spoil The Endgame: A Note From Marvel’s Russo Brothers
We are just two weeks away from a massive event. Less, actually, considering it's just nine days away. Avengers: Endgame is coming folks, THIS IS NOT A DRILL.
Wrapping up a 10 year phase for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Endgame is set to be the most epic movie yet. Opening night is sold out in a number of theaters across the country – though there are still some open showings on Thursday in the Quad Cities! – as people gear up for this finale.
The problem is, the spoilers will start leaking almost immediately. It's inevitable. Even so, the Russo Brothers, who directed the film, have issued a formal request to fans to keep it to a minimum.
The note was posted to Facebook early Tuesday afternoon, and its hashtag, #DontSpoilTheEndgame, started trending almost immediately.
For some, it's a solemn promise. For others, it's a good laugh. One commenter even wrote "Thanos demands us to be Silent... Well, I’ve got this to say to the Mad Titan, NOT A CHANCE!"
Be wary fellow Marvel fans!
