Dozens of Animals Rescued From Disgusting Conditions In An Iowa Home
WHO-TV out of Warren County, Iowa is reporting 25 cats and a lab mix were rescued from a home in Lacona after a welfare check revealed the horrid living conditions the animals were living in.
The Humane Society found dead cats, kittens, and a dog on the property, and the house was without air conditioning or electricity.
Criminal charges have not yet been filed.
The animals found alive were transported to the Humane Society in Warren County. The shelter is now in need of kitty litter and cat food to keep up with the demands of the rescued animals. You can donate to the shelter here.
