UPDATE: MoTown Craft Beer Festival Moving To Sunday Due To Weather
Sometimes plans have to change. That can happen a lot when mother nature is involved. Due to rain, strong winds, and hail possible on Saturday, the MoTown Craft Beer Festival is being moved to Sunday.
Organizers say "Due to the unsafe weather that will be here on Saturday during the morning, during set up for the festival, and during the festival, we will be moving the Mo-Town Craft Beer Festival to Sunday. The best part of Sunday, no rain and no heat. High of 78 with scattered clouds. Perfect outside beer drinking weather!
For the MoTown Mile race, they will attempt to have it on Saturday. There might be a couple of delays, but the race will not move.
The MoTown Craft Beer Festival
For the 9th year, Moline will become a beer lovers' paradise. The MoTown Craft Beer Festival is at Bass Street Landing. So it's basically like one big bar patio party...with 120 beer choices!
There will be over 35 breweries on-site. Quick math on tickets, and that's like $1 a brewery. Or 33 cents a beer. Some of the breweries include:
- General Admission - $35 Per Ticket - $40.00 day of event
- VIP Admission - $50.00 Per Ticket - Includes entrance an hour early before General Admission, limited edition drawstring bag, and Pint Glass.
Not only can you enjoy all that beer, food, and music, but you can do it for a good cause. The MoTown Craft Beer Festival raises funds for four great local charities. The Children's Therapy Center of the Quad Cities, Mississippi Bend Trykes, The Chris VanSpeybroeck Memorial Scholarship, and the Peaceful Palate.
