Who wants to dunk a Davenport police officer? Well, you can this Saturday at the Hy-Vee on East Kimberly Road! It only cost $1 to do so and proceeds benefit the Quad Cities Crime Stoppers.

This weekend is Hy-Vee's Customer Appreciation Event and not only do they have great deals, but you also have a chance to get some Davenport police officers soaked for a good cause.

In a social media post on Thursday, Northgate Hy-Vee (1823 E Kimberly Rd, Davenport, IA), announced a special event during the Customer Appreciation Event happening this weekend. This Saturday, July 17th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., you can stop out, get great deals, and pay to dunk a Davenport police officer. To have a chance to dunk the police, you'll need to pay an easy $1 per ball. The more you pay, the better chance you'll have at soaking a cop.

All of the proceeds raised during that time will benefit Crime Stoppers of the Quad Cities.

Not only will you be able to have a chance to dunk the police this weekend, but all Quad Cities Hy-Vee stores will have deals and other giveaways happening too.

The first 200 customers will get free Quad Cities River Bandits tickets, there will be free hot dogs, chips, and water, plus huge department giveaways throughout the store.

Each store will have a ton of other prizes, specials, and other entertaining things going on to celebrate their customers.
