The luck of the Quad Cities with the Iowa Lottery continues with this massive win. A man in a small town in Eastern Iowa is now a quarter of a million dollars richer after buying the right ticket at a gas station in the Quad Cities metro.

Zach Redmond is the latest winner in the Quad Cities with the Iowa Lottery and his win comes just in time for him to enjoy that money all summer long.

I couldn't imagine the feeling of finding out I just won $250,000 but I'm sure it's pretty sweet.

DeWitt Man Keeps The Quad Cities Lucky Going With Iowa Lottery Win

A huge congrats go out to Zachary (Zach) Redmond of DeWitt. He won the first top prize in the Iowa Lottery's "Hit the Jackpot!" InstaPlay game, the Iowa Lottery announced on June 15th.

In case you were wondering where Zach got his big winning ticket, he purchased it at QC Mart, 1629 Grant St. in Bettendorf.  He claimed his prize Thursday at the lottery's Cedar Rapids regional office.

Zach's winning ticket isn't the cheapest lottery ticket you can buy with the Iowa Lottery. Hit The Jackpot! is a $30 game that features eight top prizes of $250,000, 40 prizes of $10,000, and overall odds of 1 in 2.97. You're saying that there are 7 more $250,000 jackpot prizes somewhere in Iowa?

Looks like I know what lottery ticket I'm buying next.

Congrats to Zach Redmond of DeWitt on winning big with the Iowa Lottery and being from the QCA. Looks like we know who is buying the next round.
