Eldridge Trampoline Park Transforming Into Something New

Helium Trampoline Park is now under new ownership.  Edwards Entertainment Company will be transforming the business into "The Play Station Quad Cities." The Play Station  has another location in Cedar Rapids. 

Helium Trampoline Park in Eldridge is open right now under the new ownership of Edwards Entertainment with new pricing, and no time limits. The Edwards family and Eldridge staff are excited to get to know you!

One of my first jobs was working at the Play Station in Cedar Rapids. I started when I was 16, and worked there for almost three years. It was a great experience, and the owner, Nick Edwards, was an incredible leader. I had the chance to sit down and talk with Nick.

We first talked about what he found the most rewarding about his time with the Play Station in Cedar Rapids.

The Play Station has been a staple in the Cedar Rapids community for almost 28 years. The most rewarding part for me has been to continue providing a place where families can kick back relax and play in a fun, clean and safe environment. Over the last couple of years at our Cedar Rapids location we have been completely overhauling all the attractions, games and food options and its so awesome to see families come out and just have fun with one another. It's pretty neat to see a child reach the top of our climbing walls for the first time and seeing that big smiley grin on there face.

Their are some big plans with the new spot as well. They currently plan to continue offering all the great attractions that are currently at Helium and then as they look into the fall/winter of 2021 they plan to add their signature "Play Maze" to this location. He also teased a few surprises up their sleeves that they couldn't share at the time.

In the short term guests will notice immediate changes to the food and beverage areas. Were completely overhauling the menu and offering all the same great food options that we feature in our Cedar Rapids location. Including our Mega Pretzels, Box Car Nachos, pizzas, flatbreads, wings and unlimited refillable fountain drinks! The food is a big part of the experience when you come to The Play Station!

Nick truly loves what he is doing, and shared some excitement he had for the Quad Cities.

I'm really excited to share our brand with the Quad Cities. Each year we have hundreds of families that visit our Cedar Rapids location and it just made sense that the Quad Cities should be home to the next Play Station. One thing that I think families will really enjoy is that when you come to a Play Station location we don't operate on time limits or "jump time". When you buy a ticket from one of our ticket options it's unlimited, ALL DAY PLAY! No more time limits. So a family can come out for the day and just kick back and relax! We will also be having a new membership program. Families can pick the membership option that works best for their child and come and play as much as they want for one low price. The awesome part about our memberships is they can be used at any Play Station location. So if you buy a membership here in the Quad Cities location it can also be used in our Cedar Rapids location.

The Play Station has always been about family, Nick and his family truly embraces that with their guests and employees.

This has been a tough year for families. We want to be that place your family can get away to and just enjoy good ole family fun.
