Queso lovers, this one's for you.

Sometimes, you gotta have a uniquely delightful lunch break. That's what we're looking at here. I love doing stuff for charity and I can practically drink queso, so if you're in the same boat, here's a perfect event for us.

JDC is about 2 and a half months away already. Queso For A Cause will benefit John Deere Classic's Birdies for Charity.

On Tuesday, April 22nd, from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., you'll be able to stop by Quad Cities Pancheros locations and 20% of all purchases will go towards Birdies for Charity, which goes to help hundreds of charities.

Inside the stores, you can enter to win a prize that includes: free burritos for a year, 2 John Deere classic tickets, and exclusive swag.

The Pancheros participating will be on both sides of the river:

  • 4888 Utica Ridge Rd. Davenport, IA 52807
  • 902 W. Kimberly Rd. Suite 21A Davenport, IA 52806
  • 5273 Competition Drive Bettendorf, IA 52722
  • 4140 38th Ave. Moline, IL 61265

One winner of all the cool stuff will be chosen from each of those locations, for a total of 4 prize winners. You can only enter to win it once, so don't try to stuff the basket. It's supporting local charities and having a particularly delicious lunch break while you're at it.

It will be golf tournament time before you know it. The John Deere Classic this year will be July 2-6. Birdies for Charity lets local charities get portions of the money that's raised based on pledges made during the tournament as to the number of birdies there will be.

Can You Pass The U.S. Citizenship Test?

Many immigrants who want to become citizens of the U.S. have a lot of knowledge they need to know before being granted citizenship. As a naturally born citizen of the U.S., you probably think you know it all, but do you?

During the naturalization interview, a civics test is given. The civics test is an oral test and the USCIS Officer will ask the applicant up to 10 of the many civics questions below. An applicant must answer 6 out of 10 questions correctly to pass the civics portion of the naturalization test. Think you can get at least 60% correct? Let's find out.
