Facebook Dating Has Officially Arrived

Remember when you used to shoot your shot with someone on Facebook by "poking" someone? It was weird, but sometimes it worked! But hopefully, it's a thing of the past now – especially because the social network is offering a far less subtle option. There's now an actual dating portion of it!

It came to the U.S. on Thursday, September 5th, having already had some time to get its footing in Brazil, Canada and 17 other countries.

According to KWQC, " Your Facebook Dating profile will be separate from your main one, but it will tap existing features such as events and groups, as well as your network of friends to identify 'secret crushes.'"

With this dating app, there's no swiping. You'll either tap a heart to "like" someone, or an X to pass on them. It also will only let you message someone once, unless you get a response!
