Make A Popsicle Pitstop For A Free Cold Treat In Moline
Nothing screams summer like an ice-cold popsicle or ice cream from one of the many delicious ice cream shops in our area. All month long, one of the Quad Cities on the Illinois side is celebrating one of its departments by giving residents a free sweet treat.
Every Thursday at various parks in Moline, IL, the Moline Parks and Recreation Department is hosting Popsicle Pitstops and the first one is today (Thursday, July 6th).
Make sure you show up early so you don't miss out on getting this sweet treat provided by Whitey's Ice Cream.
Moline's Popsicle Pitstops
The City of Moline and the Moline Parks and Recreation Department wants you to come to celebrate National Park and Recreation Month once again this year. They’ll be at a different park every Thursday in July offering free popsicles during these Popsicle Pitstops, provided and sponsored by Whitey’s Ice Cream.
Plus, during each Popsicle Pitstop, there will be other fun giveaways, yard games, and handouts, sponsored by Dead Poet’s Espresso.
Come enjoy a cool treat on the Moline Parks and Recreation Department as a “thank you” for supporting the department throughout the year.
Officials say to bring your kids, stop on your lunch break, or just take a walk to the park to enjoy the fun at the Popsicle Pitstops. All ages are welcome.
