In a Press Release Five Flags Center stated,

"As businesses across Iowa resume operations, the Five Flags Center, Dubuque’s entertainment destination, has begun formulating and implementing policies that will allow the facility to reopen to the public in the coming weeks. Five Flags Center employees have developed these plans in conjunction with ASM Global, the company that manages the facility, as well as leading public health authorities, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. ASM Global is including Five Flags in its new environmental hygiene protocol, VenueShield."

While a state order had kept the Five Flags Center closed to the public since mid-March. It should be noted their facility staff had continued to maintain regular operations. The increased cleanliness will also continue to be a part of Five Flags’ approach to reopening the facility.

Five Flags Center General Manager H.R. Cook.went on to say,

"We recognize that there are a wide range of attitudes and levels of concern about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our priority is going to be making people feel comfortable coming back to our venue, regardless of where they land on that spectrum.”

Five Flags Center is being included in ASM Global’s new VenueShield program. The protocol is comprehensive and incorporates best practices to provide the highest levels of cleanliness and safety to inspire consumer confidence while accommodating for evolving guest expectations.
