Free Rides Home on NYE in the Quad Cities

With this free ride option, ringing in 2019 just got easier and safer. In the age of Uber, Lyft and all the other ways to get rides, there is no excuse for a DUI.

Their surcharges,  however, can be through the roof. I once had a friend use one of these driving services to get from Davenport to Moline and it cost him $60 for a 20 minute ride. While it's still cheaper than a DUI (and paying for any ride always is), it can't beat free.

According to EliteDaily.com,

"Quad Cities region in Illinois and Iowa — Thanks to Miller Lite Free Rides (which is also responsible for the Chicago, Milwaukee and Twin Cities free bus rides), NYE partiers in Davenport, Iowa and Rock Island and Moline in Illinois can enjoy free bus rides from 9 p.m. CT on NYE through 3 a.m. CT On New Year's Day, per the Metro website."
