I've learned some tried and true tips and tricks to getting back into the school swing of things. This isn't your average back-to-school advice.

I've been through several back-to-school seasons now. Today, I got to share some of my favorite tips on Living Local, a show on our CBS affiliate, WHBF Channel 4, where I'm a guest every other week for Wellness Wednesdays.

From resetting your child's sleep patterns, morning routines and how to sneak healthier foods into their lunches, to making your own hand sanitizer  with 3 ingredients or less (since they go through so much of it), preventing head lice and what to do naturally if your child does get it this year.

Here are some non-conventional tips I've learned to use with my own kiddos to make the back-to-school transition a bit easier.
