Get In The Christmas Spirit With Carriage Rides, Santa In Eastern Iowa Downtown
There's no limit on magical moments this time of the year.
When you think of the Hallmark Christmas movies, you probably picture a cute downtown area with Christmas decor and seasonal charm and that's what you could find in real life in Eldridge.
The North Scott Chamber of Commerce will host Hometown Holiday on December 6th at 5:30 p.m. This is the kind of cute, community Christmas celebration we all love this time of the year.
It's almost every festive thing you could ask for in one place:
- Carriage rides
- B100 playing Christmas music
- Grinch scavenger hunt
- Cookie decorating
- Santa visit
- Putting green
- S'mores
- Tacos
- Reindeer games
- Scott County Library Bookmobile
- Wreath raffle
- Christmas walk
- Carolers
- Fill Santa's sleigh for the North Scott Food Pantry (bring either a cash donation or non-perishable food item)
And it's free. It is FREE. My absolute favorite word around the holidays.
Look for B100's tent. Sarah will be playing Christmas music and our tent will be where you can pick up an Official Grinch Hunt form!
The event will run until 7:30 p.m. Events will be all around downtown Eldridge, so there will be plenty of places to explore. You can follow North Scott Chamber of Commerce on Facebook to keep up with the latest.
Come enjoy some hot chocolate with us and ring in the Christmas season in Eldridge. Sing along to some Christmas bops even if you can't carry a tune in a bucket. We'll see you there!
