Glee fans just got a whole new, live musical extravaganza added to their "must see" list. Grease. It's a classic. I don't know too many people who love B100 who haven't seen Grease at least once.

NBC put out the first live musical, with Carrie Underwood, a couple of years ago in The Sound of Music. This past year, their edition of live Peter Pan made for a ton of great jokes on late-night TV and SNL.

FOX decided to jump on board and give NBC a little competition...in 2016. Julianne Hough from Dancing with the Stars and Vanessa Hudgens are lined up to play the roles of Sandy (the part Olivia Newton John originally played in the movie) and Rizzo (The Pink Ladies' leader).  With a lineup like that already in place I can't wait to hear who will play Danny (John Travolta's character).

While Grease is older than I am, it never gets old to me, no matter how many times I see it live or on DVD. It's one of those classics that live on through the ages.
