Guy Pulls Reverse Heist To Install Fake Signboard of Himself at Gas Station
When you go to a lot of the bigger gas stations, you'll find there's some special meal named after some up and coming country artist. It's typically food they already have, just bundled together to be a dollar less.
Since most people don't know who these up and coming artists are, a guy on TikTok decided he wanted to try a reverse heist.
"The other day I was in a convenience store and they had a cardboard cutout of Post Malone. I asked the guy working, 'Hey, can I have that when you guys are done with it?' and he was like 'Man, I don't even know where that stuff comes from. Vendors bring it and then it just disappears one day,'" Kyle Scheele explained in his viral TikTok.
Kyle decided he was going to do one of his own.
"Once I heard that, I immediately knew I'm going to make a cardboard cutout of myself and put it in a gas station," he said.
First, he needed a photo of himself. Kyle called his friend who was a photographer and they did a mini-photoshoot where Kyle held a pizza shaped guitar.
Next, he did some photoshopping to create the cutout, and sent it to his friend that worked for a cardboard sign-printing company where they printed the cutout.
The cutout was so big, that Kyle had to rent a U-Haul van just to transport this thing. At some point, you have to wonder what his all-in cost for this prank was.
Kyle picked out a Kum & Go for his target, and went in while it was busy. One guy walking by held the door for him. Kyle explained that he walked in, and set up the cutout. On his way out, he told the cashier, "I'm just going to put this right here."
The cashier responded to Kyle, and said "Okay, thank you!"
Kyle's cutout has to be about 7 or 8 feet tall, and stood right in the middle of the Kum & Go, in front of the food counter. It makes sense, since it's for the "Kyle Scheele Meal."
Kyle ends his video by saying he'll post an update soon to let everyone know how long the cutout stays up. Of course, his video has over 10 million views on TikTok, so it's bound to get around to every Kum & Go employee in the country.
