The famous polar bear is in Iowa!

When we think of classic Christmas characters, we can't overlook Coca-Cola's polar bear. Bringing the world a Coke and a smile, winter edition.

Now, just in time for the holidays, Coca-Cola's Holiday Caravan is making a journey through a few states, including Iowa this week.

You can get a pic with Santa, get your own personalized Coca-Cola Zero Sugar can, and of course, have an ice-cold Coke and a smile.

The caravan won't be stopping in Des Moines, according to the Des Moines Register, but you'll be able to find it in several other places this week:

Dec. 18

  • Asbury: Hy-Vee, 2395 North West Arterial (12:00 p.m.-2:30 p.m.)
  • Dubuque: Walmart, 4200 Dodge St. (5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.)

Dec. 19

  • Cedar Rapids: Walmart, 3601 29th Ave. SW (12:00 p.m.-2:30 p.m.)
  • Cedar Rapids: Hy-Vee, 5050 Edgewood Road NE (6:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m.)

Dec. 20

  • Ankeny: Pizza Ranch, 201 SE Oralabor Road (2:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.)

Dec. 21 & 22

  • Fort Dodge: Hy-Vee, 115 S. 29th St. (12:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.)
  • Mason City: Walmart, 4151 Fourth St. SW (4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.)

Before you head out to visit the caravan, Coca-Cola recommends checking their Holiday Caravan website 24 hours in advance to make sure your stop is still on and plans/times haven't changed. Activities might vary by location. If you're traveling out of town this week for the holidays, you can also find Coca-Cola's Holiday Caravan in Alabama, Connecticut, Georgia, Massachusetts, Oregon, and New York. The caravan has been in Illinois lately with stops this week in the Chicagoland area, according to Coca-Cola's map.

A new pop-up is open at a bar in Eastern Iowa that's making the Grinch look cooler than ever. Kelso's Corner, 1117 Mound St. in the Village of East Davenport, has launched an incredible holiday pop-up focused around the famous green guy. The 1st annual Grinchmas is now open at Kelso's Corner through New Year's Eve.
