Holiday Wood Carving Today In The Quad Cities
If you're looking for a fun date, or something different to do with the family. Starting Today, Wednesday, December 11th, Quad City Arts is going to remain open until 8pm for an interesting type of holiday celebration.
Members of the Mississippi Valley Woodcarvers will be demonstrating some amazing carving and selling unique Christmas themed creations between 6-8 PM. Sometimes it's hard to find that gift that's just right for someone, these could be that one of a kind special gifts, or you could snag one for yourself.
It's exciting to see Quad city Arts, a local nonprofit arts agency, bring an enriching experiences to the Quad City Region. Support for art exhibitions is provided by the Iowa Arts Council, a division of the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
This could be the perfect opportunity to pick up some last minute gifts, or just enjoy some hot coco and watch some holiday carving with loved ones. Guest will also get a sneak peek of their newest exhibition. Whatever the reason, all are welcome.
This event will be held at Quad City Arts in Rock Island, Illinois. Today from 6pm-8pm. Gallery hours are Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday 11 a.m.–5 p.m
