Hy-Vee Has Made More Major Changes to Help Fight COVID-19
Last week, we shared some of the changes Hy-Vee has made to help protect both customers and workers from contracting COVID-19.
The adjustments included closing down their salad and hot food bar and banning the use of personal cups from their drink stations.
The Courier reports further precautions have been taken by the chain.
The new changes include:
- Customers will no longer be able to bring in reusable bags until further notice.
- Temporary window panels will be installed at the checkout aisle to provide an additional layer of protection between the customer and cashier.
Hy-Vee said these panels are already in place at the Des Moines stores, but will be installed at other locations in the coming days.
