Are you lucky enough to have a lot of talent?

The classic 'American Idol' show that we stayed glued to circa 2005 is having virtual auditions in Iowa!

It's called "Idol Across America" and on Tuesday, September 1st, Iowans will have the chance to audition via Zoom for producers of 'American Idol'.

The auditions for Iowans are September 1st.

Here's how this is going to work: you go to this "Idol Across America" link. You scroll down to 'Iowa' and reserve the time slot on September 1st that works best for you to scrape out a song on Zoom to the 'American Idol' producers.

Auditionees can also get real-time feedback from the producers they perform for on Zoom.

This is the first round of auditions for the next season of 'American Idol'.

If you can't make it to the September 1st auditions, they are having several open call auditions on Sept. 11th, a West & Midwest open call on Sept. 21st, and another nationwide open call on Sept. 28th.

And by the way, there is an age range on this. You can only audition for this round if you were born between June 2, 1997 and February 15, 2012. For those of us older than that, I'm sure the nursing home has karaoke.

Also in the fine print: if you do want to audition for the show at some point on Sept. 1st or at one of the open calls, whichever day you schedule, it's recommended that you clear your schedule for the day as the producers reserve the right to shift around time slots as they need to.
