Illinois Gaming Board announced closures for their casinos. Is Iowa next?

The Illinois Gaming Board announced just this morning that they will be closing all 10 casinos for 14 days beginning Monday, March 16,2020 due to COVID-19, according to KWQC.com.

I checked on Iowa's status to see if they are next. According to Rhythm City Casino in Davenport, they said, "As of right now, we will remain open."

While I remain optimistic, it's not hard to imagine that eventually Iowa will follow suite with the rest of the country and close their casinos, too.

Be sure to get there while you can.
