These Select Iowa And Illinois Target Locations Will Open For Taylor Swift’s Midnight Album Release

It's a big, orange week for Swifties.

The much speculated 'TS12' album is finally coming out this week, known as "The Life Of A Showgirl".

All kinds of hype is going on this week, even locally. Taylor Swift Music Video Bingo at Daiquiri Factory was great.

And this Saturday, have a post-record release party by reliving the Eras Tour at The Rust Belt with Blank Space: the unofficial Taylor Swift Tribute at 7:30! And of course, "The Life of a Showgirl" release party will be in local theaters this weekend too.

What Targets Are Hosting The Midnight Release

Taylor Swift has partnered with Target in the past and now, it looks like lines will be forming outside of Targets, Black Friday style, for her new album release.

At select Targets, Swifties can get their hands on the new album as soon as it's released at midnight. While supplies last, there will also be Target exclusives, like the Summertime Spritz Pink Shimmer vinyl (featuring a poem Taylor wrote), 3 CD's, and posters. And a pink cassette.

Of course, not every Target will be open through midnight tonight.

But a few in Iowa and Illinois are.

How This Is Gonna Work

According to NBC Chicago, Target employees will start handing out physical or digital tickets in the electronics section of these Targets around 10:00 p.m. tonight.

Once you get that, keep shopping, then lines will start forming around the new album area around 11:45 p.m.

Because these will be in high demand, Target says there's a purchase limit of 4 per item, per guest. Sorry to all of the shady resellers.

If you can't make it, it's okay. The full lineup of products will be on Target's website in the early morning hours of Oct. 3rd.
