Iowan student Maddy Douglas sees your silly math questions and she will have nothing to do with them. Who knew a fourth grader could be so outspoken?

If you're wondering what I mean, Maddy was doing her math homework one night when she came across a question that involved eight high schoolers dating each other in rapid, differing combinations. Maddy wasn't too pleased, and she decided to let her teacher know.

Instead of solving the math problem, she wrote, "I can't answer this question because my mom says according to girl code you shouldn't date a friend's x boyfriend." Maddy, you're probably right on that one.

Maddy's mom ended up posting a picture of the worksheet online and it went viral. People from all over have pitched in an opinion on whether they think the math problem is inappropriate for students Maddy's age, whether it promotes promiscuity, or if the content of the problem isn't as important as completing the math itself.

Her teacher ended up laughing at her response and told her, "Good point." She wasn't penalized for her answer.
