If you ever wanted to be on "Fear Factor", this might be your chance.

We can agree there are a lot of levels to the spooky side of Halloween. There's jumpscares, there's gore, and there's flat ick.

Adventureland's Phantom Fall Fest is getting underway and they're starting it with a slithery pile of nope.

On Saturday, October 5th, they will have Phantom’s Meal Worm Eating Contest. If you can eat 10 live mealworms the fastest, you can win an Adventureland Prize Pack. It's at 2:00 p.m. and the first 10 guests to sign up for the challenge on-site will get to compete.

What's not fair is that the kids get to eat gummy worms in a similar competition. Bernie’s Gummy Worm Eating Contest will be at 1:30 p.m. The first 10 kids to sign up on-site will race to eat 10 gummy worms, with the winner getting an Adventureland Candy Pack.

That I could do.

Adventureland's Phantom Fall Fest has 4 "haunts": 'Malice in Wonderland', 'Carnevil', 'Cornstalkers', and 'Spirits of the Swamp'. There are 4 "scare zones": 'Deadsville', 'Nordic Nightmare', 'The Fallen', and 'Hellbillies'.

For the kiddos, there are some daytime activities like trick-or-treating, a hay maze, scream contest, a costume contest, pumpkin painting, and scary-oke.

Of course, there are also festive food options and rides that will be open.

I think I would rather just pay the money to visit the park than try to eat 10 worms but in this economy, go for it if you can. More power to you.
