You can add prize-winning photographer to your list of accomplishments!

Besides the plentiful road construction signs, there really are some beautiful points to capture on your camera roll in Iowa. The Coalition To Support Iowa Farmers is looking for just those.

They're having a photo contest that has 3 categories you can submit a photo to:

  • Land
  • Livestock
  • People

Here were the winners of those from last year, to give you a vibe of what they're looking for.

Lovely photos, right? You get the vibe. Not a collage of potholes. Legit, pretty pictures.

You can enter July 17th-August 2nd. It is limited to one entry per category per person.

You don't have to be a renowned photographer to enter the contest, but you do have to be an Iowa resident to participate.

After entries close, there will be a voting period open to the public that will run from August 3rd to August 6th on Facebook.

The Prizes

There will be winners in every category in addition to a grand prize winner. Besides bragging rights, the grand prize winner will get 2 tickets to see Alabama on October 19th at the Wells Fargo Arena.

The three category winners will get $50 Amazon gift cards.

You'll be able to scroll and vote for your favorite photos on Coalition To Support Iowa's Farmers Facebook page. If you have some pics ready to go, you can submit your photo entries for the contest at this link.
