Bloomin' Brands, which owns Outback Steakhouse, Bonefish Grill, and Carrabba's Italian Grill, announced recently that they plan on closing 43 locations nationwide due to a loss of $4.3 million in earnings in their fourth quarter. While it's unknown which locations are among those on the chopping block, Bloomin' Brands did say that the restaurants that are closing are all underperforming.

We're not sure how well the Davenport Outback is doing, but their Yelp reviews are not promising- The steakhouse has an average of just 2.5 stars, and has gotten some pretty terrible reviews over the last year. I, personally, have always loved Outback's delicious bread and their cheese fries, but I've been too sketched out by reviews to try the Davenport Outback since I moved to the Quad Cities.

I do hope that the Davenport location survives the closures, however, since I know there are plenty of Outback lovers around the QC, and it would be a pretty big loss to the area. Hopefully we'll know more about which locations are closing soon.
