It's one of the Quad Cities favorite light displays each year.

Each year, my girls and I look forward to the Winter Nights Winter Lights display at the Quad City Botanical Center in Rock Island. All the beautiful plants, flowers and unique beauty found inside the botanical center is lit up for Christmas and it couldn't be more festive.

It's fun for all ages with crafts for the kids, a scavenger hunt through the displays and so many light, it's easy to get lost in it all.

According to QCTimes.com, there are new milestones and new events there this year.

Opening night for the display is this Wednesday, December 4, 2019 from 4:30 p.m. - 8:30p.m., and every Wednesday thru Saturday until January 4th, 2020.

Admission costs $8 for adults, $4 for kids ages 2-15 years old and children 2 years old and under are free.

There are some new events and new seasonal cocktails that will be served there, as well. Head over to qcgardens.com for more information and to RSVP for these events.

Nothing says 'romantic night out' or 'family night' fun quite like this place. It's magical, wonderful and just the thing to get anyone into the holiday spirit.
