Unique Food Coming to the Illinois State Fair You Have to Try

This is the time of year when it's okay just to put the diet on hold and enjoy deep-fried everything at fairs.

The Illinois State Fair runs from August 8 through the 18th in Springfield, Illinois. The fair announced a massive lineup of grandstand music artists coming this year, but for many, it's the food that brings them to the fair every year.

As much walking as you do at the Illinois State Fair, it's okay to have the deep-fried Oreos and the foot-long hot dot, you will burn those calories. However, if you are looking for something different you might want to try these.
