Your sweet tooth will thank you!

The Food Network is definitely an expert when it comes to food. Just a few days ago (June 15th), they put out a new list of the most over-the-top desserts in all 50 states. The article reads:

"It's not your imagination: For years, desserts have been getting bigger, fancier, wilder and more mind-blowing. The makers of these showstopping sweets just keep outdoing themselves—which works out really well for the rest of us. We scoured the country and found a must-try in every state."

According to the Food Network's list, the most "over-the-top" dessert in the state of Iowa is called the "Holy Doughly."

The Holy Doughly is a magical creation from a place called Dough Crazy in Des Moines. Dough Crazy is a dessert shop that specializes in safe-to-eat cookie dough. They offer 12 different flavors, including Brownie Batter, Cookies & Cream, Monster, Cherry Chocolate Chip, Snickers, Fruity Pebbles, and more.

The Holy Doughly is a combination of Dough Crazy's cookie dough and a ChaCha's homemade cookie. Customers can choose whatever cookie dough flavor they want, and then that flavor is stuffed between either a chocolate chip or sugar cookie. One sandwich will cost you $6.

If cookie dough stuffed between cookies is a little too much for you, Dough Crazy also offers scoops of cookies, as well as Dough Pops, Push Pops (filled with cookie dough), cookie dough shakes, and Ice Cream Doughwiches. The Ice Cream Doughwich sounds AMAZING, especially when you consider that there are eight different ice cream flavors to choose from. Imagine the combinations!

If you want to check out Dough Crazy, the storefront is located at 1220 Locust Street in Des Moines, but they also have a food truck that travels around the area! You can check out their Facebook page HERE.
