Herbert Hoover Library and Museum to Reopen

The Corridor Business Journal reports that the Herbert Hoover Library and Museum will celebrate its grand opening on Thursday, August 6th. The reopening comes after an extensive renovation project that was designed to modernize the visitor experience and help more people learn about the legacy of Herbert Hoover. The CBJ reports that the event is expected to draw dignitaries, historians, and visitors from across the nation.

What Will The Renovated Museum and Library Include?

The CBJ reports that the new-look museum will feature immersive exhibits and interactive educational experiences. It will also feature a greater focus on Hoover's global humanitarian efforts, engineering achievements, and public service. Officials with the Hoover Foundation's Board of Trustees told the CBJ that "The reopening of this museum is a defining moment for the Foundation and for everyone who believes Herbert Hoover’s humanitarian legacy deserves renewed recognition."

When Do Events Start on August 6th?

The CBJ reports that the celebration on August 6th will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, guest speakers, and the public's first chance to tour the redesigned museum. Admission for the grand opening is free.
