Little Texas Is Coming to Iowa’s Biggest Truck Party — 2026 Walcott Truckers Jamboree
Every summer, thousands of truck drivers and visitors from across the country roll into eastern Iowa for one of the biggest trucking celebrations in America. Now organizers have announced the entertainment lineup for the 48th Annual Walcott Truckers Jamboree, and it’s shaping up to be another big weekend.
The popular event will take place July 9–11, 2026, at the Iowa 80 Truckstop in Walcott, widely known as the “World’s Largest Truckstop.” The three-day celebration honors professional drivers with live music, truck competitions, food, and family-friendly entertainment.
Country Hitmakers Headline the Main Stage
One of the biggest highlights this year will be a performance from the country band Little Texas, scheduled for 7 p.m. on Friday, July 10.
The group rose to fame in the 1990s with hits like “God Blessed Texas” and “Amy’s Back in Austin.” Over the years, the band has earned multiple Grammy nominations and won Top Vocal Group of the Year at the Academy of Country Music Awards in 1993.
Other artists scheduled to perform during the weekend include:
- The Dani Lynn Howe Band
- The Schmidt Brothers
- Angela Meyer and the Western Stars
- Shiny Shiny Black
Concerts will start at 5 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, followed by the popular Super Trucks Lights at Night display and a fireworks show at 9 p.m. Saturday’s live music will kick off earlier in the afternoon, around 1 p.m.
Trucks, Food, and Competitions All Weekend
The Walcott Truckers Jamboree is more than just concerts. The event is packed with activities celebrating trucking culture.
Visitors can expect:
- A massive Super Truck Beauty Contest
- An antique truck display
- The fan-favorite Trucker Olympics
- More than 175 exhibits and vendors
- The famous Iowa Pork Chop Cookout
The Super Truck Beauty Contest regularly draws trucks from across the U.S., with owners competing in categories based on truck style, design, and lighting.
A Free Event That Draws Thousands
One reason the event is so popular is that admission and parking are completely free. Shuttle buses will also be available to take visitors from parking areas to the festival grounds.
The jamboree has been celebrating America’s truck drivers since 1979, and it continues to grow every year. In fact, a recent jamboree drew more than 45,000 attendees over three days, according to event organizers.
