Two Guys Got Pulled Over Driving A Couch Down The Street
The biggest problem today is that there's just no way to get from place to place comfortably. Newer cars have seats that aren't broken in enough, older cars have seats that are too broken in. Walking is definitely out, and there's just nothing that compares to the comfort of your own couch, at least, that's what we always thought until these geniuses came along.
Police in Charlotte, North Carolina, were baffled by a couple of guys who were travelling one of the busier streets in town on a couch that was propelled by two electric scooters.
"While we appreciate the creativity, we do have to remind everyone: no matter what you're 'driving' (using that term extremely loosely), please think about safety first. Ask yourself: Should this be on a road... with actual cars... will the sheer shock of seeing this on the road cause other drivers to lose focus and drive unsafely? If the answer feels even slightly like 'yes,' maybe rethink the ride," police wrote.
They didn't reveal what the two guys were charged with, but commenters say they were probably charged with "Innovation" or "Aggravated Shenanigans."
Apparently, this isn't the first duo of guys to do such a thing.
Searching around TikTok, we found a couple of guys in Seattle who did the same exact design with a couch in August.
It's worth mentioning that this takes an impressive amount of coordination and trust between two friends to be able to have two separate steering and propulsion apparatuses.
