The infamous Truck Eating Bridge at Brady Street and 5th Street in Davenport struck again on Wednesday morning, this time peeling the top of a semi-trailer back like a can of sardines.

The truck struck the bridge just after 9 am, bringing the traffic headed North on Brady Street down to one lane as fire crews worked to brush the shrapnel thrown across all four lanes off of the street.

The bridge is 11ft 8inches tall, and once again, a truck that's juuuuuust a little too tall tried to slip through. They should really put something up to let the drivers know - currently there's only multiple sets of flashing signs and warning systems on the street.
