Florida Police Looking For 2 Men Who Stole Utility Truck For Attempted ATM Heist

At 5 AM Friday morning, police officers in Lake City received an alarm from a bank and rushed to the scene. However, what they discovered was nothing short of unbelievable – the ATM near the drive-thru of Ameris Bank had been yanked out from its foundation, leaving a trail of drag marks through the parking lot and grass.

The drama didn't end there. Just a few minutes later, another officer spotted a white utility truck making its way north on NW Bascom Norris Drive, dragging the stolen ATM behind it.

It was a sight to behold, almost as if the thieves wanted to make a daring escape in the most unconventional way possible.

Attempting The Catch

The officer attempted to pull over the truck. However, the two individuals inside were not ready to face the consequences of their actions. They abandoned the stolen truck and disappeared into the nearby woods, leaving the ATM abandoned on the road.

The elusive duo has managed to evade capture so far. Undeterred, FBI agents have been called in to meticulously process the evidence left behind at the scene.
