Pet owners in the Quad Cities who purchase dog products online are being urged to check their supplies after two supplements sold nationwide were recalled over concerns they could contain Salmonella.

Vet Plus, Inc. has recalled its Fi Calming Supplement for Dogs and Fi 8-in-1 Formula Supplement for Dogs after the company was alerted that an ingredient used in the products may have been contaminated with Salmonella, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

The products were available through Amazon and Chewy and were sold across the United States.

The recalled supplements are packaged in 180-gram containers. Consumers can identify the affected products by checking the following information:
