If you thought line dancing was just a once-in-a-while country bar thing… think again. The Quad Cities has built a full-on line dancing scene, and it’s surprisingly easy to jump into.
Whether you’ve never stepped foot on a dance floor or you’re ready to show off your best moves, there are now multiple weekly options to get involved.
Kelso's Corner
Over at Kelso's Corner, line dancing takes over the last Friday of every month from April through September. From 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., dancers can learn popular routines from professional instructor "Amy" in a laid-back, beginner-friendly setting.

Daiquiri Factory
Looking for something a little more nostalgic? Daiquiri Factory is kicking off retro 90s line dancing nights starting Wednesday, April 22. Lessons run from 6 to 8 p.m., and while final details are still being worked out, organizers say the classes are expected to be free with food and drink specials in the mix.

Columbus Club
If consistency is more your style, Columbus Club is now hosting weekly Thursday classes. Beginners can start from 6 to 7 p.m., followed by high beginner and intermediate dancing until 8:30 p.m. Classes are affordable, with options to pay per session or monthly.
