
Quad City Irish Rugby Leads Domestic Violence Awareness Drive
The Quad City Irish Rugby team is hosting a supply drive for Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
You can drop off supplies needed at any point this week, with the grand finale happening at their match on October 25th.
Quad City Irish Rugby Women's Team Annual Supply Drive
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, raising awareness about domestic violence, supporting survivors, and advocating for its prevention. You are encouraged to wear the color purple as a symbol of support and reflect on progress, address the work still needed, and raise public awareness about the issue.
The supply drive is collecting items such as:
- Deodorant
- Sponges
- Shampoo & Conditioner
- Dish Soap
- Body Wash / Soap Bars
- Multi-Purpose Cleaners
- Feminine Products
- Paper Towels
- Socks / Undergarments
- Toothbrushes / Toothpaste
You can drop off the supplies at any time at the following locations:

Join The Quad City Irish Rugby Team For The Match On October 25
The supply drive will end on October 25 at Centennial Park in Davenport when the Quad City Irish Rugby team has a match on the pitch. Drop off your supplies there and then, after the match, join the team at Mac's Tavern in Davenport for a "Social".
