Man in Cookie Monster Shirt Robs Store of…Cookies

Cops in Oregon arrived a little too late to the scene of the crime, and there were only crumbs.

According to WIFR cops were called to a store in Forrest Grove, Oregon where a man in a Cookie Monster t-shirt opening a package of cookies and helped himself. He ate half the box, and left.

This cookie monster felt bad, and turned himself in the following day at the police station. Whatever he told officers wasn't enough to send him skipping back to Sesame Street, he was issued a 3rd degree theft charge.
