The maker of Barbie and Hot Wheels is back with a new project.

Mattel, the company you know from all kinds of toys, including the iconic Barbie dolls and Hot Wheels, has a new venture in the works.

According to a press release from the company, they will open 'Mattel Wonder Indoor Waterparks', which will include 5 destination waterparks, including one in Orlando, Florida and reportedly including one in Bradley, Illinois.

NBC Chicago says the Village of Bradley voted to approve the park back in December.

Mattel plans to make this waterpark into a marquee destination. The Mattel Waterpark will integrate the company's iconic toy brands, including Barbie and Hot Wheels, with waterpark staples like lazy rivers, waterslides, and wave pools.

Michael Watson, Village of Bradley Mayor, said:

Local excitement continues to grow around Mattel Wonder Indoor Waterpark coming to the Village of Bradley, with plans to become one of Illinois’ premier indoor waterparks. We view this venture as the perfect opportunity to showcase our great town alongside Mattel's iconic brands.

Meanwhile, don't hold your breath. There's no word yet on when this Mattel Waterpark will open or even where exactly it's supposed to be located.

As for the parks themselves, Mattel says the parks will be done by aquatic design firm Martin Aquatic, who is behind waterparks on cruise ships, and also Royal Caribbean's Perfect Day at CocoCay, Universal Orlando's Volcano Bay, and The Ritz-Carlton Naples. American Resort Management and the I-dentity Group will also be involved in the park development.
