Monkey Carcass, 125 Pounds Of “Ruminant” Meat Seized At Chicago O’Hare
The adventures simply never end at airports.
We all know Chicago O'Hare is one of America's biggest and busiest airports. With so many people passing through, you're bound to have moments that make you step back and say what.
Let's review how 2025 alone looked:

- March: Flight From Chicago O'Hare Forced To Return After Toilets Clogged
- February: WATCH: Landing Plane Nearly Hits Jet At Busy Illinois Airport

This is the latest one of those.
According to a release from U.S. Customs and Border Protection, a monkey carcass and "125 pounds of prohibited ruminant meat" were seized at the airport on April 11th. I'm not even showing you the pics from that because it's that ratchet.
The carcass belonged to a traveler coming into the U.S. from Cameroon.
After the X-ray exam of the bag showed something weird in it, officers opened it up to find the monkey carcass.
The ruminant meat was found soon after in luggage belonging to a traveler coming into the U.S. from Liberia.
They tried to sneak the meat in via 8 boxes of what looked like dried seafood but it was actually meat, bones, and hair hidden in the seafood. CBP says that seafood is mostly allowed but ruminant meat from certain countries isn't allowed in the U.S.
The meat was seized by CBP's agriculture specialists, along with a pound of prohibited "fresh leaves", and 4 types of prohibited seeds.
