National Burrito Day Deals & Freebies In The Quad Cities

While April 1st is most well known for its tricks and fools, this day also holds another holiday that many love. It's National Burrito Day. This day does have a few discrepancies, some sources say the holiday on April 7th. Almost all burrito spots however celebrate this holiday on April 1st, and this year is going to be crazy!

It's great to see so many places celebrating a holiday that is technically not even real, but hey I'm all for free food.

Now let's look at the deals and freebies of National Burrito Day 2021:

Chipotle - let's start with the crazy one. According to USA Today The fast-casual chain announced Tuesday it will give away $100,000 in free burritos and $100,000 in Bitcoin through an interactive game. They are calling this Burritos or Bitcoin.

Taco Bell - Sources say Taco Bell has free delivery on orders of $12 or more when you order through Grubhub.

Taco John's - This spot is also hosting a giveaway, while the Boss Burrito and The Boss Bowl for just $5 each.

Moe’s Southwest Grill - They still have a deal according to retail, you can get a burrito for just $5.

Del Taco - A few deals here, you can get a free Chicken Crunch Burrito with any purchase made through the Del Taco app for drive-thru, takeout or delivery.

More spots and deals can be found here, but personally I'm still laughing at Chipotle's crazy Bitcoin idea, I kinda love it, and I think it worked for what their going for. Where will you be celebrating this funny holiday?
