Why is it when ever there's a new building going up somewhere there's always a group of Quad Citians that think it's a bad idea? Sometimes I swear if we had it our way, there wouldn't be any growth in the Quad Cities. No new stores, restaurants, housing, infrastructure...etc.

According to the QC Times, a group of Davenport residents are not happy about a proposed Taco Bell location going up in their neighborhood.

The location in question is the northwest corner of Kimberly Road and Sturdevant Street.

I'm not going to get into a political debate as to why or why not this location should or shouldn't open. Good luck to both sides. Maybe if the location opens, everyone should get a free Locos Taco?
