It's one of the oldest bakeries still going in the Quad Cities.
Old Towne Bakery in Moline was introduced to me early. It quickly became a favorite for QC donuts. I don't eat them much now, in fact, hardly ever, but when I do, it's where I've gone. I really like supporting family businesses. There's something timeless about seeing generations pass down recipes and people knowing one another for more than a few years.
Over the weekend, someone thought stealing from this family business was a good idea. According to WQAD.com,
