It's always upsetting to hear stories like this.

Local News 4 reports that a 5-month old English bulldog puppy named Amora was stolen from a vehicle at Northpark Mall last Friday.

Amora's owners, Joan Schmidt and her boyfriend Jake, said they left Amora in their car in the parking lot of Northpark for around ten minutes. When they returned to the vehicle, the dog was gone.

Although the doors of the car were locked, there was a window cracked. There were no signs of forced entry to the car.

Schmidt says they've only owned the dog for a couple of weeks and she has medical needs, making the situation more urgent.
