As a big Amazon shopper, this new scam really scares me, and I know plenty of other people in the QC use Amazon as well. According to the Better Business Bureau, there's an email going around telling recipients that Amazon items cannot be shipped. A link then asks you to confirm your information.

The BBB says,

Obviously, inputting your info could lead to scammers stealing your credit card info. But how do you know if it's a fake email? The subject line typically says "Your order cannot be shipped." Also, the sender's email address will not say Amazon if it's a scam. Easy enough to avoid falling for, but with so much holiday shopping going on, I can see how many people would click on the link.

If you have any doubt, do not click on email links, and instead recheck your order status on Amazon's site directly. If you do receive the scam email, be sure to contact Amazon.
