QC Teacher Of The Week: David Mills At George O. Barr Elementary In Silvis
The Spring 2023 semester is coming to a close but we are still heading out with our awesome program with Nothing Bundt Cakes and Scooter's Coffee to honor and reward our awesome Quad Cities teachers and educators. It's called QC Teacher of the Week and we are so excited to announce this semester's last teacher of the week!
It's now time to announce this semester's last B100, Nothing Bundt Cakes, and Scooter's Coffee's QC Teacher of the Week!
Congratulations go to Mr. David Mills, principal at George O. Barr Elementary in Silvis!
He was nominated by Jessica Vallejo, whose kids have attended the school. The nomination read:
I would like to nominate the principal of George O Barr in Silvis Illinois. He has been a great role model, Very supportive, he cares about every single one of his students. I as a parent of four children that have gone and go to George O Barr, appreciate all his help and hard work that he puts into teaching and supporting the kids every single day. He has helped my son Gavin through some rough school years and has never given up on him and always believes in him and tries to do whatever he can do as well as the facility. He always gives 110% if not more, he goes above and beyond and as a parent I appreciate that more than words can experience. I just found out that this year is going to be his last year. I would really like to send him a nice goodbye and a huge thank you to show him how much I as a parent and my kids appreciate him and what he has done for this school.
For being our QC Teacher of the Week, Mr. Mills has been rewarded with a B100 Prize Pack including stickers, and more, plus an awesome cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes and a cup and gift card from Scooter's Coffee!
Thank you for your hard work and dedication, Mr. Mills!
Congrats to all of our Spring 2023 semester QC Teachers of the Week! We wish all of our local teachers and educators a happy summer and we'll have more chances for you to nominate your favorite teachers in the fall semester!
