Mrs. Kiel was nominated by Kelly Hudson (parent) and Dax Hudson (student). Kelly and Dax said,

On behalf of my son I'd like to add my son's teacher, 4th grade Mrs. Taylor Kiel. Not only have I seen my son's progression but I've seen him grow a love for math. Never has he had a love for math until he started school at Hamilton Elementary in Moline. (The school knew he had problems from moving and PTSD and other districts schools, and was behind) when your kid says they would rather do math and practice math rather then playing games; that's just amazing. Mrs. Kiel taught my son math in a way no one had. I asked my son if we should nominate her while he was doing his math and he said yes, I asked why and he said she's the best teacher ever. My son said she helps him in his struggles and makes him happy to go to school. He says that she makes sure everyone of his classmates feel special and happy. I want to nominate Taylor Kiel on behalf of my son Dax not only cause of her dedication to her students but because she's also expecting her new baby soon and taking leave. She's a wonderful teacher, she has been so wonderful for my child's growth and Hamilton Elementary has been such a blessing.

Awesome job, Mrs. Kiel!
