QCA Woman Will Appear On ‘The Voice’
You might want to remember this Clinton woman's name. It's entirely possible you'll be hearing it a lot!
Lydia Parker, a 25-year old mom in Clinton is getting ready to appear on one of the most popular reality shows on TV, according to the QC Times.
Parker will compete later this year on season 17 of "The Voice" on NBC and features coaches like Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton (next season's official coaches haven't been officially announced yet).
A friend who wants to remain anonymous said she helped Parker by sending a video of Lydia singing a cappella to the screening staff at "The Voice." Staff at NBC called a few days later.
You can keep track of Lydia's journey through a Facebook group called Lydia's Journey to the VOICE! The page has more than 1,300 members and is still growing. Several fundraisers will be held prior to her first audition to help pay for her expenses, and they're detailed on the Facebook page.
